So, at the beginning of the year I like to set aside time to write down my goals and get myself organized for the new year. This is usually when I set up my new planner and a notebook to go with it!

Since this will be my first year as an entrepreneur (saying that is still scary 🥴), I decided to take a whole week to get organized and create a system that I can follow. I started with 1-2 smart goals for the first quarter of the year and then developed my own content strategy and calendar to help me stay on track to reaching those goals. We will see how this goes!!

If there’s one thing this fertility journey has taught me, it’s how to wait 🥴 It’s kind of ghetto here, if I can be honest, but as painful and exhausting as it can be I can see why the wait is necessary.

I look at my time at my job and how I longed to do what I felt I was purposed to do full time. I remember seeing others being blessed with what I was praying for and wondering when it would be my turn and dreaming about the day of leaping. Now that I sit in a space that I prayed about for years, I see why the wait was necessary. I needed the wait so that I could appreciate and be prepared for this very moment.

As I’m on my fertility journey longing and praying for the day when God will bless us with children, I continue in the wait knowing with confidence that God will open that door in His perfect timing and I will look back on the wait knowing it was all worth it.

For those in the wait, I know it’s hard and I know you’re over it. Keep holding on for we know that God makes all things beautiful in their time 🤍

I love how a lot of the fashion trends I grew up on are coming back. It definitely gives me all the nostalgia but at the same time makes me feel old 😩
