Knowing that our baby girl will see the face of Je

Knowing that our baby girl will see the face of Jesus is such a comforting thought. A friend of mine shared with me that when we get to heaven, there will be angels who will bring to us the baby/babies we lost. That is such a sweet and reassuring thought to hold onto 🤍

If you’ve suffered pregnancy loss and you are a believer, I hope you find comfort in knowing that you will someday see your baby/babies. It gives me hope and an even greater desire to further live life with the ultimate goal of heaven in mind.

2020 has undoubtedly been the hardest year of my life. I’ve experienced much loss in my family, many setbacks, disappointments and a lot of sadness. Literally could not catch a break this year.

Despite all the difficulties of this year I’m so thankful to have a loving husband who has been better to me than I could have imagined. He’s been my rock through all of this. The night that I miscarried he stayed up with me until 1:00am even though he had to go to work just a few hours later.

He reminded me that we will get through this and that no matter what, we have to keep going until we see God’s promises fulfilled. Even through the grief, I’m thankful. God is still good 💛

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard people

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard people say not to question God, but as an adult with my own relationship with Him I don’t subscribe to that. I believe that it is completely okay to ask God why He allows certain things to happen, why you’re going through what you’re going through, and how you’re going to make it through. So many people in the Bible questioned and wrestled with God and their faith and He answered them one way or another. I believe all the questions that go through our minds are completely normal and God can handle it all. I think we subconsciously think that in our doubting God’s hand in our lives through question is a form of disrespect, but I believe that it’s in those moments of questioning and wrestling with God that we draw closer to Him. He may or may not give us all the answers to our why’s or how’s, but one thing that’s certain is He always gives answers that point back to WHO He is.

During this time I’ve had so many questions. Like why would God allow me to go through 3 surgeries, the loss of both my tubes, a diagnosis of endometriosis, a diagnosis of DOR, 4 delayed/cancelled treatments, and the loss of one of our two embryos only to lose our baby in the end. I may or may not get an answer to those questions right now, but my questioning and wrestling with God is taking me to a place of absolute trust in Him and His word whether I get the answers or not. John 13:7 reminds us that Jesus said, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

You may not understand why God is allowing you to go through things and you may have a ton of questions. Ask Him! Release all of it! It’s not disrespectful to share your feelings, emotions, frustrations and questions with God. You can still have faith and feel your feelings. I think when you bring all of that to His throne, you can begin to heal. I’m not at the healing part yet, I’m still sorting through all my questions and the pain, but I’ve realized God can handle all of my feelings and emotions better than I can 🌈💕

We were hoping and praying for a different outcome

We were hoping and praying for a different outcome. We had crazy faith to believe that this was finally our time. We didn’t think this would be part of our story. We’ve already been through so much and we were so confident that we would finally experience some happiness on this difficult journey.

Sometimes God has other plans. Right now we are not okay. We lost our sweet baby girl and we are trying to process all the emotions that come along with miscarriage/pregnancy loss. I don’t think I’ve cried this much in my life, and I’m a cryer lol. This journey has not been kind to us at all if I’m being honest. It seems like every time we get a happy moment, it’s taken from us so quickly. This is why we go hard and celebrate every win, because it seems like they are few and far between. We have no choice but to cherish the happy moments because they give us hope and carry us through the difficult ones.

I don’t understand why God allowed this to happen, I don’t know how He’s going to get us through and I don’t know what’s next for us, but I do know that the God we serve does have a wonderful plan for this. I believe that we will overcome infertility because He’s already defeated it and we will see our rainbow after this storm.

To our sweet baby girl, we never got to hold you in our arms but we love you like crazy and we hold you in our hearts everyday. You had so many people praying for you and standing in faith with us for you. You had such an impact on our lives before we even got to meet you. It’s because of you that we continued on this journey even when I wanted to give up so many times. It’s because of you that we have been devoted to God in crazy faith. You showed me that despite all the odds stacked against me that God is able. And because of you our crazy faith journey continues 🌈💕

I took some much needed time off social media for

I took some much needed time off social media for some personal time with God and I have to say that I’m filled with so much peace and my faith has increased. I say with confidence that this journey is not over! We still have a baby, we just haven’t heard a heartbeat YET! I have no signs or symptoms of anything telling me otherwise, so with that it’s not over until God says it’s over. I know that this whole journey, the delays, the setbacks, the cancellations have all been to test my faith and my decision to respond to trials with joy as James 1:2 says. It’s only because of God that I type this with such peace in my heart in knowing that whatever God does with this situation, He is STILL GOOD! We know that all things work together for our good, so why would I retreat to anxiety, fear or worry when He’s promised good?!

I’m still believing in God for a miracle and I’m not letting go until God blesses me. I may be a little quiet here in the next week or so as we await another appointment, but please know that God’s got us, my faith is so big right now and He will get all the glory!

Thank you to everyone who’s been checking on me, praying and thinking of me and my family. I believe all of that has helped me so much in this season. Y’all are the real MVPs 💛

We are so very thankful for God’s covering. The outpouring of prayers and encouraging messages we’ve received truly have us in good spirits and shows us that God is already working. I had a dream about my sweet baby girl on Friday (my first vivid dream about her) and I woke up with such joy. I’ve never been so sure of something in my life! We have peace and we are confident that God will fulfill His promise to us. We will receive great news this week about our baby girl. We have already claimed the victory and are expecting the great!

This is a month of gratitude and thanksgiving and we are thanking God in advance for using us to perform His next miracle. Just watch how God turns this thing around 🙌🏽💕
